Following the Mass in honor of deceased Paulists on Friday, the approximately 150 lay participants attending the convocation boarded motor coaches and headed to Phillips’ Waterfront Restaurant for a deluxe seafood buffet followed by an evening tour of the D.C. monuments. Tour guides led participants through the Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial, the Korean Memorial, Vietnam Memorial and World War II Memorial. Panoramic views of the Washington Monument, White House and Capitol building were there for the picture taking.
