Answering the call: Paulists' paths to Priesthood

The ordination class of 1965, all delegates to the 2010 Paulist General Assembly, celebrated 35 years of Paulist priesthood with a Mass at the Trinity University chapel May 16, 2010. The class includes Father Tom Kane, CSP (left); Father Paul G. Robichaud, CSP; Father John F. Duffy, CSP, past president of the Paulists; Father Michael B. McGarry, CSP, current Paulist president; and Father Tom Ryan, CSP.
Each Paulist’s path to the priesthood is as unique as the man himself. Some entered the seminary right out of high school while others had established careers before they answered the call to serve the church. Whatever their backgrounds, Paulist priests have vocation stories that are touching, if not awe-inspiring. In this section of paulist.org, we showcase the continuing priestly journeys of our priests.
