Are you interested in getting your parish or diocese involved in welcoming Inactive Catholics back to church?

If you are interested in sharing your time, your resources, and your faith, Landings provides an opportunity to participate in the Church's evangelization mission by opening your hearts to those who've been away.

By setting up a Landings program at your parish, you can provide a safe harbor (or a “landing” place) for returning Catholics to explore their faith and their future with the Church.

Dear Friends,

I received a phone call that our dear leader, Father Jim Moran
died early this morning. He has been at peace for days, even
celebrating Mass on his birthday with his brother, Maryknoll priest
John Moran. Last night his sister Maggie decided to stay at the
hospice and Jim died at 6:00am.

Jim had such a great love for all of you and for Landings...
many times over the past year I would ask if he would
assign another Paulist to Landings so that he would not
have to worry about us....he always said: "No, Joan, I
want to do Landings more than anything....Landings is
life-giving to me." At the end he said to me, "I wish I
could have done more," and I said, "Jim, you are the anchor,
always supportive. I could always talk to you anywhere...
London, Rome, Singapore, Los Angeles, Ireland (he even called me
from Dubai). We are all so grateful."

Margaret (in Scotland) wrote to me: "Father Jac Campbell and
our good Lord will be there to welcome Jim into heaven and give
him a happy Landing." May he be at peace.

Love to all of you,

Joan A. Horn
Coordinator
