A true journey of faith! Father Thomas Kane, CSP, and Father Tom Ryan, CSP, are leading a group of 26 pilgrims from across the United States and Ontario, Canada on an interfaith pilgrimage to India and Nepal. After arriving in Delhi on Jan. 31, the pilgrims visited the Shri Lakshmi Hindu Temple; the Sikh Bangla Shahib Gurudwara/Temple filled with devotees and the music of drums; the ruins of an Islamic mosque and the Qutab Minar, the highest stone tower in India and a symbol of Muslim might in the 12th century; the Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948; and the Palace of India. The day ended the day with Mass at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart before enjoying an extraordinary buffet of India cuisine. Father Kane is the director of Paulist Reconciliation Ministries and Father Ryan is the director of the Paulist Office for Ecumenical and Interfaith Relations.
