Paulist President Father John F. Duffy, C.S.P.May the peace of the Risen Lord be with you now during this Easter season.
Our Lenten spiritual journey is complete. We find ourselves with faith renewed and filled with hope. Yes, because of the Lord’s death and resurrection, we believe in a life that is eternal. And because of the Risen Lord’s presence in our midst, we hope that through us he will renew the face of the earth.
As the winds blow the scent of new blooms and the ground returns to a lush green, be thankful for the ways that we find the Lord around us. Be it the smile of your granddaughter or godson; a picturesque sunrise or sunset; gathering to share a meal with family and friends; or in the words of that famous bumper sticker, “seeing someone perform a random act of kindness.” Yes, these are moments that indeed proclaim to us that the Lord is alive.
And we are called to be bearers of that presence to others. In particular, when we give of our time, talent and treasure we can have a positive impact on the world in which we live and where the Risen Lord abides.
The Paulist Fathers invite you to explore our key mission areas of evangelization, reconciliation and ecumenical-interfaith relations and if possible share in them. Checking out these vital parts of the Paulist charism on this Web site is a great first step. Here you will find basic ministry and contact information as well as links showing you how you can join the Paulists in ministry.
Whatever might be your life calling may the Risen Lord inspire you to join us in our ministry of service to the people of North America. Each one of us is called to be about His work.
