In this installment of his series “Psalm Sense,” Paulist  Fr. John Geaney pays tribute to the Los Angeles Dodgers’ Tommy Lasorda, who died January 7, 2021. He connects Tommy’s legendary enthusiasm with the “Praise him!” verses of Psalm 148.

A veteran Catholic communicator, Fr. Geaney lives at the Paulist Center in Boston. He most recently served as rector of the Cathedral of St. Andrew in Grand Rapids, MI.
