On July 1, 2023, the Paulist Fathers began a new chapter in their missionary history when they began their service to at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church in San Diego, CA.

We are thankful to His Eminence, Cardinal Robert McElroy, for entrusting us with the pastoral care of this large and diverse parish founded in 1985.

“It is our hope that Saint Gregory the Great will be, in the cardinal’s words, ‘a launching pad for Paulist mission.’ We look forward to sharing God’s unconditional love as we accompany and invite to the feast of grace those who are distant from the Catholic Church and its practice, and those who have been relegated to the peripheries of society and the Church,” said Paulist Fr. René Constanza, our president.
