The Paulist Fathers are missionaries.
And, moving to a new assignment in the mission field is a regular part of the missionary life.
This summer, several Paulists will make such a move. They are:
Paulist Fr. Rich Andre will become pastor of Old St. Mary’s Church in Chicago and superior of the Paulist Fathers in that city.
Paulist Fr. Jimmy Hsu will become pastor of St. Austin Church in Austin, TX, and superior of the Paulist Fathers in that city.
Paulist Fr. Larry Rice will become pastor of St. John XXIII University Parish in Knoxville, TN.
Paulist Fr. Ivan Tou will become pastor of Old St. Mary’s Cathedral in San Francisco and superior of the Paulist Fathers in that city.
Paulist Fr. Rick Walsh will become director of the Paulist Center in Boston as well as continue in his current role as superior of the Paulist Fathers in that city.
Paulist Fr. Ron Franco will become superior of the Paulist Fathers’ Motherhouse in New York City.
Paulist Fr. Ryan Casey will become an associate pastor of the Cathedral of Saint Andrew in Grand Rapids, MI.
Paulist Fr. Chris Lawton, in his first priestly assignment, will become an associate pastor of the Church of St. Paul the Apostle in New York City.
Paulist Fr. Dan Macalinao, in his first priestly assignment, will become associate pastor of Old St. Mary’s Church in Chicago.
Paulist Fr. John Ardis, our vice president, will add the additional role of assistant for senior Paulist Fathers.
Paulist Fr. Evan Cummings, associate director of our Busted Halo media ministry, will add an additional role focused on young adult ministry.
Paulist Fr. Don Andrie will begin a sabbatical based in Austin, TX.
Paulist Fr. Brad Schoeberle will begin a sabbatical based at the Paulist Fathers’ Motherhouse in New York City.
Paulist Fr. Ken Boyack, a senior minister, will move to the Cathedral of Saint Andrew in Grand Rapids, MI.
Paulist Fr. Bob Cary, a senior minister, will move to Old St. Mary’s Church in Chicago.
Paulist Fr. John Duffy, a senior minister, will move to the Paulist Center in Boston.
Paulist Fr. Patrick Johnson, a senior minister, will move to the Paulist Center in Boston.
Paulist Fr. Tim Sullivan will enter senior ministry while continuing to be based at Immaculate Conception Church in Knoxville, TN.
Also, while not moving, Paulist Fr. Mike Kallock will begin a new, four-year term as the Paulist Fathers’ Director of Novices based at Hecker House, our seminary, in Washington, D.C.
