In the coming weeks, Paulist Productions‘ new documentary film “Baseball: Beyond Belief” will make its national television debut and be seen in select theaters.

Based on the book “Baseball as a Road to God: Seeing Beyond the Game” by former New York University president John Sexton, the documentary explores how baseball and faith intertwine in powerful and surprising ways.

“Baseball: Beyond Belief” is scheduled to air nationally on television on Easter Sunday, April 5, at 4 p.m. Eastern / 1 p.m. Pacific on Fox Sports 1.

The documentary will have debut in theaters in Los Angeles from March 23 to March 26.

It will debut on Friday, March 27, and Saturday, March 28, at the Village East by Angelika movie theater at 189 Second Avenue (at 12th Street) in Manhattan in New York City.

Question & Answer sessions with director John Scheinfeld are scheduled for Friday, March 27, and Saturday, March 28, after the 7:15 p.m. screenings at the Village East.

On Sunday, March 29, at 2:50 p.m., “Baseball: Beyond Belief” will be screened at the 24th Annual Garden State Film Festival in Asbury Park, NJ.
