Today is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of the sacred season of Lent.

In this new installment of “Psalm Sense,” “Psalm Sense,” Paulist  Fr. John Geaney says this Lent is a good time to work and pray for peace in our world, in our country and within families. He connects this need to verses of Psalm 34.

A veteran Catholic communicator, Fr. Geaney lives at the Paulist Center in Boston. He most recently served as rector of the Cathedral of St. Andrew in Grand Rapids, MI.
