The song “My Country Tis of Thee” and Psalm 98 both inspired Paulist Fr. John Geaney in the creation of this Independence Day installment of his video series “Psalm Sense.”

A veteran Catholic communicator, Fr. Geaney lives at the Paulist Center in Boston. He most recently served as rector of the Cathedral of St. Andrew in Grand Rapids, MI.
