On a recent visit to Ireland, one of Paulist Fr. John Geaney’s relatives asked him, “How come you don’t take some of the tougher Psalms to deal with” in the Psalm Sense series?” So, in this installment, Fr. Geaney looks at Psalm 46.

A veteran Catholic communicator and pastor, Fr. Geaney lives today at the Paulist Center in Boston. He is a past  rector of the Cathedral of St. Andrew in Grand Rapids, MI.
