In this installment of Psalm Sense, Paulist Fr. John Geaney draws attention to the ongoing war in Ukraine.

“People are still being killed there. Battles are being fought there. There is no way we can determine who might just be winning, or if anybody is winning. It’s just a senseless slaughter that goes on and on,” reflects Fr. Geaney.

He connects his reflection to verses of Psalm 94.

A veteran Catholic communicator and pastor, Fr. Geaney lives today at the Paulist Center in Boston. He most recently served as rector of the Cathedral of St. Andrew in Grand Rapids, MI.
