In this installment of Psalm Sense, Paulist Fr. John Geaney reflects on Psalm 137. In his reflection, he makes a connection between the Jewish refugees in Babylon (mentioned in Psalm 137) with the refugees who have fled from present-day Ukraine in the wake of the Russian invasion.

A veteran Catholic communicator and pastor, Fr. Geaney lives today at the Paulist Center in Boston. He most recently served as rector of the Cathedral of St. Andrew in Grand Rapids, MI.
