On this Veterans Day, we pause to remember our brother, Paulist Fr. Kevin Devine, who entered eternal life on March 25, 2021, at the age of 90.

He served for 31 years as a U.S. Army chaplain and was the recipient of the Silver Star and the Bronze Star.
In 1969 and 1970, Fr. Kevin served an 18-month tour of duty in Vietnam.

In 1970, Fr. Kevin created a slide presentation reflecting on his experience in Vietnam. In 2017, he translated that presentation into a video called “Peace.”

Fr. Kevin was laid to rest on August 23, 2021, at Arlington National Cemetery. Here are photos from that day:
