Paulist Deacon Dan Macalinao is a native of the Philippines.
He earned his undergraduate degree in 2008 from Wesleyan University where he studied molecular biology and biochemistry
In May, 2018, he received a doctorate in cancer biology from the Gerstner Sloan Kettering Graduate School of Biomedical Science in New York City.
Dan met the Paulist Fathers at our mother church, the Church of St. Paul the Apostle in New York City, where he was a leader for several years in the parish's vibrant music ministry.
